In most cases, no. Every Vita is designed to meet the Caravan Act, so planning permission is not usually required. To give an example of how the law works, it demands that buildings covered by the legislation must consist of movable sections – and our Vitas are designed to meet this rule. Larger sizes or commercial use may need planning permission; if so, we handle the full application in-house.

Yes. A Vita is a habitable building, so it is built to meet building regulations throughout, including the ground preparation. We can manage the building notice and certification for a fee, or you can arrange it yourself.

The price covers everything within the walls and floor of a Vita – kitchenette, shower room with toilet or toilet and sink, full electrics, heating, insulation and foundations. External mains connections for drains and water are quoted separately or arranged with a local contractor before we start. We provide a drawing showing where those connections need to be positioned.

Many people use a Vita for ancillary family living – for parents, grown-up children or guests. Using it to provide income, such as a holiday let, can bring separate planning conditions into play. We are happy to advise, but it is for you to make sure your intended use meets the rules.

We offer four sizes up to 9m x 4.5m. If you need something larger, taller or a different shape, our Bespoke service can design a Vita around your space and needs.

For most garden rooms with install, we split it into three stages: 40% deposit before manufacture, 50% on or before the first day of installation, and the final 10% within seven days of completion. Supply-only (DIY install) is paid in full before delivery. Pay by bank transfer or card, and finance is available through Novuna, including 0% Buy Now Pay Later.
